Dentist.
Amsterdam · 2–4 days
Anonymised profile · posted 29 oktober 2026
This dentist works across the full breadth of general dentistry and has a clear focus within that on periodontology. Alongside the dentistry degree, this candidate completed additional postgraduate training in periodontology and in paediatric dentistry. This dentist holds a BIG registration and is looking for a permanent spot in Amsterdam in time, on a self-employed basis.
Profile
An eager-to-learn general dentist with over five years of treatment experience and a strong periodontal background. Likes to work in a structured way and values a tidy, well-organised practice environment. Training is a common thread: this candidate has already completed additional periodontology courses and is enrolled in a multi-day course in restorative dentistry.
Experience and skills
- Periodontology: periodontal intakes, periodontal charting and initial treatments — the strongest part of this profile.
- General dentistry: check-ups, restorations, fillings and whitening.
- Endodontics: treatments with one or two canals; complex endodontics is referred on.
- Patient care: pleasant and patient with anxious patients and with children.
- In development: crown, onlay and other restorative work; this experience is being built up now and supported with training. Surgical extractions and implantology are referred on.
What this candidate is looking for
A spot in Amsterdam for 2 to 4 days a week (16–32 hours), on a self-employed basis and with a percentage of turnover. What matters is a modern, clean and well-organised practice with a scanner and good materials, and a clear separation between the clean and the dirty side with sufficient circulation. This dentist wants to build out the restorative work further and is looking for a practice that makes room for further training.
