For a practice with several locations in Amsterdam we are looking for implantologists on a self-employed basis. The practice offers implants at a lower rate, so that people with a smaller budget can be helped too. At the location that is being expanded there is room for several implantologists. You work a minimum of two days per week, to be chosen from Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
What you’ll be doing
Your day consists of intakes and implant placements. After an intake you explain the treatment plan, so that the patient goes home with an appointment for the treatment. The intakes are scheduled for you. A colleague takes over the scanning and the placing of the crowns, so that you can carry on placing implants. The target is eight implants a day; at the moment the average is around six or seven, and some colleagues reach twelve.
Who this suits
This suits you if you want to place implants all day and do not want general dentistry alongside your schedule. If you normally work with a different implant system, you will be given an explanation of the system used by the practice.

Education and experience
- BIG registration as a dentist
- Experience in placing implants independently; the title of implantologist is not required
- You are able to perform a sinus lift and bone augmentation
- Fluent Dutch

Honestly: the schedule is geared towards volume, with eight implants a day as the target.
