Five years chairside in a general practice with three dentists. Used to a full schedule and to helping out at reception when needed.
Works calmly and thinks ahead: the room is ready before the dentist asks for it. Takes X-rays independently and sees when an image needs to be retaken. Has been giving brushing instruction more and more often lately and finds that part of the work the most rewarding. So wants to grow into more prevention, alongside the chairside work.

- Assisting with general treatment and crown and bridge work
- Certified for radiography, including OPT images
- Sterilisation and stock management, including the ordering

- Brushing instruction and advice for patients, including children
What this candidate is looking for
A practice with fixed working days and room to start doing more prevention, possibly with prevention certification. The fixed days are linked to caring for children, so a changing rota is not an option. Support in getting the certification would be a welcome bonus.
