Two years’ experience as a prevention assistant, and three years as a dental assistant before that. Prefers working alongside a dental hygienist.
Runs the prevention clinic independently: check-ups, scaling, brushing instruction and fluoride. Thanks to the years chairside, also knows the rest of the practice well. Consults the dental hygienist when a patient needs more than a clean, and likes learning from that consultation. Keeps their own schedule and books recall appointments themselves. Helps out chairside when the team is short-staffed.
