Job · Permanent
Dental hygienist.
Haarlem · 24–36 hours
€ 3.300–€ 4.500 gross per month
A practice in Haarlem is looking for a degree-qualified dental hygienist for 24 to 36 hours, with a fully independent clinic and their own schedule. Within the agreed framework you decide how to organise your days.
What you’ll be doing
You run your own clinic: periodontal screening and diagnostics, initial treatment, aftercare programmes and prevention advice. You set your own treatment times within the scheduling agreements — anyone who needs more time gets it.
Part of the week you work at the main site, part at the practice’s second site. For referrals and consultation you have short lines to the dentists, and you review your periodontal cases with them periodically.
Who this suits
This suits you if you want to carry your own clinic with the freedom to set your own treatment times, and if you don’t mind being at another site part of the week. If you want a place where you work with the same colleagues in the same building all week, this is not your practice.
What the practice offers
- Salary between € 3.300 and € 4.500 gross per month on a full-time basis, plus 8% holiday allowance
- 24 to 36 hours a week, with your own room and your own schedule
- Setting your own treatment times within the scheduling agreements
- Short lines to the dentists for referrals and consultation
- Training budget for continuing education and registration points
Education and experience
A BSc in Oral Hygiene is a hard requirement. Experience of working independently matters more than the number of years: you need to be able to carry your own clinic without anyone looking over your shoulder.
What you bring
Independence and the ability to explain a treatment plan to someone who wasn’t waiting for one. You guard your own schedule and keep your records up to date. Honestly: you work alone on site part of the week — plenty of independence, but less day-to-day sparring with immediate colleagues.
