Job · Permanent

Orthodontist.

The Hague · 3–5 days

€ 6.000–€ 7.200 gross per month

A specialist orthodontic practice in The Hague is looking for an orthodontist for three to five days a week. You get your own treatment room, a fully digital workflow and a team that has worked together for years.

What you’ll be doing

Full-scope orthodontics: from intake and diagnostics to treatment planning, braces and aligners, and the check-ups in between. You decide your own clinical approach and your own pace.

The practice works with digital scanners and a room per clinician. Experienced orthodontic assistants handle the preparation, the photographic records and much of the patient contact, so that you stay chairside. Many young patients and their parents, so explaining comes with the job.

Who this suits

This suits you if you want to be entirely in orthodontics, with no general dentistry in between, and if you like the organisation around you already being in place. Everything is set up for treating: your room is ready, your assistant knows what is coming. If you want room to help build a practice or set up your own way of working from scratch, this is not the place — here you step into a machine that is already running.

What the practice offers

  • Salary between € 6.000 and € 7.200 gross per month on a full-time basis, pro rata to your days, plus 8% holiday allowance
  • Three to five days a week, with your own treatment room
  • Fully digital workflow with intraoral scanners
  • Experienced orthodontic assistants who know the practice and the patients
  • A team that has worked in the same line-up for years

Education and experience

Recognition as an orthodontist and entry in the specialist register are hard requirements. Experience with aligners is welcome but not a must — that way of working is established in the practice and you will be brought up to speed.

What you bring

Independence and patience for long treatment journeys with young patients. You are clear about what a treatment will and won’t achieve, including with parents who have high expectations. Honestly: the waiting list is long — you start with a full schedule and little run-up.
