A modern practice in Amsterdam is looking for a general practitioner for 24 to 38 hours a week. The practice is fully digital and has a close-knit team that has worked together for years. You get your own chair and a schedule that is full from day one.
What you’ll be doing
You run your own chair doing general dentistry: routine check-ups, restorative work and whatever endodontics you want to take on yourself. Anything outside your field or preference you refer on — nobody makes a fuss about that.
The practice works with an intraoral scanner and digital records, so you record as you treat rather than afterwards. There is room for your own clinical approach: there is no hourly revenue target hanging over the schedule. What you agree with a patient is up to you.
Who this suits
This suits you if you want to work independently without being on your own. You have dedicated assistance beside you, short lines to the other clinicians and a dental hygienist in house to refer to. If you are looking for a gentle start with an empty schedule to build up yourself, this is not the place — here you take over a practice that is already running.

- Salary between € 5.000 and € 6.200 gross per month on a full-time basis, plus 8% holiday allowance

Education and experience
BIG registration as a dentist is a hard requirement. Beyond that, experience in general practice counts for more than the number of years: you need to be able to run a full schedule independently and judge for yourself when to refer on.

Independence in the treatment room and enjoyment of patient contact — many patients have been coming here for years and you notice that in the conversations. You work well with assistance and keep your records as they should be. Honestly: the schedule is full from day one — not a gentle induction, but you are a full member of the team straight away.
