A dental lab in Ede, specialising in crown and bridge work and implant work, is looking for a dental technician for 36 to 40 hours.
What you’ll be doing
You make crowns, bridges and implant work, partly designed and milled digitally, partly finished by hand.
A job starts with a digital scan or an impression from the dentist. You design the work on the computer, have it milled and then finish it by hand. You check shade, shape and fit yourself before the work leaves the lab.
You are in contact with the dentists who order from the lab, for example about shade and fit. Sometimes a patient comes in for shade matching. The lab works with fixed delivery days, so you plan your week around those moments.

Education and experience
A dental technology qualification and at least two years’ experience in crown and bridge work. Experience with digital design is nice to have, but not necessary: that is what the in-house training is for. You become familiar with implant work step by step.

You check your own work before it goes out the door. You consult a dentist when an order isn’t clear, rather than guessing. And you can adjust your planning when a lot has to be finished at the same time at the end of the week.
