A general practice in Amsterdam is looking for a freelance dentist for two or three days a week. You work on a revenue basis and get a schedule that is already filled.
What you’ll be doing
You run your own schedule of general dentistry: check-ups, fillings, crown and bridge work and the emergencies that come in. You get a regular assistant, so you don’t work with someone different every day.
Some of the patients already know the practice, so you don’t have to build up a new schedule. You make your own treatment plans and discuss them with the patient.
For orthodontics and endodontics you refer to regular partners. So you don’t need to specialise in every field.

Education and experience
A dentist with BIG registration and at least three years’ experience. As a self-employed professional you arrange your own registration, insurance and invoicing. You can run a full schedule independently.

You make clear agreements with patients and with the team. You stick to the practice’s quality guidelines, even when you work on a revenue basis.
Honestly: on a revenue basis you work without a fixed salary. In quiet weeks you earn less, and in busy weeks more.
